Meet Lenny’s Sister

by Leighann on June 3, 2013

Q has always liked Lenny the Lion, but she really also wished that Lenny was a girl.

We received a second Lenny and she was going to give it away, but then she just couldn’t help thinking we could make Lenny a girl.

Some fabric markers, scissors, a pink medical ID bracelet, and girly accessories…et voila!

I love it! Both my son and daughter have T 1D. How cool is this.

Oh, my goodness!!! That is so CUTE!! When my sweet girl had her pump training she played with Lenny that was in the room. She practically begged for him (just without words…she didnt want to leave him) but, alas, as she has an Animas pump she went home without a new stuffed pump friend. Thankful for Rufus. He’s her ever-present friend.

What a great talent to have, I wished they taught more homemaker style classes in schools.

Q’s grandmother is teaching her to sew. I don’t think many girls her age learn these days.
