More Crafts With Medical Waste

Paint Pot

We turn used pods into Christmas ornaments and Halloween decorations and have a lot of fun doing it.

When we began painting little piggy banks to be auctioned off to raise money so that Q can kiss a pig, I needed something to put my acrylic paint in. The package that her latest pod came in was on top of the recycling so I grabbed it and poured my paint in. Worked like a charm!

What uses have you found for your medical waste?

Great idea! Btw, I love the little banks you’re making for the ADA Kiss the Pig Gala…also a great idea!

Funny you should be talking about this! Last night, my daughter shared with me that she had started using the little canisters from the One Touch BG test strips to use as a sharps container for her used lancets ( perfect for the teeny tiny ones (Delica) she just started using & loves ( as much as you can love a lancet…)
Good luck with the pigs!
