Lol, not because I am one but it's cool to see how armywives are...the show has it down! I was excited to see Claudia Joy being dx'd with diabetes, the denial and the emotional/depression that goes along with it. I don't watch Oprah often but I'll be watching it tomorrow. So far, it's been a very good job of portraying Type 2. As the mom of a child with Type 1, I hope that someday another show will do as good a job of demonstrating what living life with T1 diabetes is like. As far as the Oprah show, I don't have a lot of hope of it being much different than the usual T2 information - but do hope to be pleasantly surprised! I have never seen that show, but I guess I will start watching and see how they put the diabetes in there. I think they did a good job of homework and hopefully can give people the right perspective on the things we deal with daily. WOW.. I truly hope that he received enough letters and criticism the last time to make the changes that this show will need to spread the truth about type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes.
