I recently came across the Cornerstones4Care website and a big message popped up saying that if I registered, I could save up to $50 on Novo Nordisk Insulin.
Well, ok then, sign me up!
When I signed up, it wouldn’t let me sign my daughter up (she has diabetes, not me), so I signed up as myself. After the registration, there was a form to be printed out called the “Cornerstones4Care Savings Card.”
I wasn’t sure about all the wording so I called customer service who told me that I should be able to use it for her prescription because it has a number, but no person designated. She also said that I should be able to use it for NovoLog vials even though a lot of the wording is about the FlexPen.
It does say it is good for Levemir, NovoLog, and NovoLog Mix 70/30.
The offer expires June 30th, 2011 so if you want to take advantage, you might want to do it fairly quickly. It’s a one time use card.
Long story short, I will try to remember to take in my piece of paper when I fill our insulin next time. I just filled our insulin prescription and I get 90 days at a time, but I’ll try to squeeze a refill in before this card expires.
I took the print out with me to Walgreens today and they were able to take $50 off. I filled it for 90 days (6 vials of insulin for us) and the $50 off really helped!
