Snow Bunny

by Leighann on December 12, 2011

Q was incredibly excited for the first snow of the season…even if it was only a light dusting and was gone by the end of the school day.

She was disappointed to look out and see Daddy brushing the snow off. She wanted to draw a smiley face on her window. Instead she gave our car a little personality.

Snow Car Face

Here she is all bundled up waiting for the school bell to ring. What do you call that hat? I call it a ski mask, but I guess it has a fancy name: balaclava. I can’t say it, it always comes out sounding like a dessert!

When she saw me at the computer with the photo she asked, “You’re not going to put that on your blog, are you?” I said, “Actually, yes. You look cute.” To which she replied while scrunching her nose, “I look like I have a raccoon on my head!”

No animals were harmed in the making of this blog post…not even a raccoon.

She looks too cute! Love the “art” on the car. My girls would be jealous of the snow. Just cold here!

p.s. I’m working on an Elf on a Shelf stop the insanity post (prob. for next week) ;)

Can’t wait to read your post! It’s just one more thing for moms to have to live up to. Did you see the TV special a couple of weeks ago? I’m sure a ton of people ran to Target and bought an elf and the book. I think it was around $30! We bought our elf a few years ago at a pop-up Christmas store. My husband remembered having an elf like this as a kid and wanted one for our tree.
