JDRF is kicking off Diabetes Awareness Month by giving Type 1 the finger.

I personally am not going to teach my young children what “giving the finger” means. But my kids are having fun running around with the big foam finger and saying “T1D.”

Yeah, I’m not exactly sure how I feel about this whole thing… I haven’t written my blog post on it yet, but may hold off on my true feelings for a bit to let the announcement die down a bit. At least there’s the fun of having the foam finger, though!!

Whew! I’m glad Mike said what he did. I am not really a fan of the campaign either. But I was waiting until tomorrow to say so 😛
