Patient Blogger Code of Ethics

I’m now sporting the Patient Blogger Code of Ethics Badge. Basically it says that I’ll do my best to do right by you in terms of clear representation of perspective, confidentiality, commercial disclosure, reliability of information, and courtesy. Read more about the code.

Congratulations to Amy of Three Thirty Three. Amy won the Tassimo T20 coffee brewer. Hopefully it will help get her going in the morning!

Also, a quick note that e-mail subscribers may not be seeing included videos such as yesterday’s Swagger Wagon YouTube clip. It was definitely worth clicking over for.

And in case you missed the late afternoon post, there is wide recall of alcohol swabs.

D-Mom Blog Type 1 Tuesday

Here are some of my favorite posts I have read recently:

Featured D-Blogs of the Week

Heather of Sweet to the Soul: 365:4 (I am totally intrigued by these scales that give the nutrition label. Anyone used something like this? More work or less work?)

Kerri Sparling of Six Until Me: The Patdown: Diabetes at the Airport (I’m nervous about flying with Q and her insulin pump. Mostly because ain’t nobody touching my baby.)

Featured Non-D Blogs of the Week

Mom-O-Matic: Snoring Showdown (I could have written this! But I’ve recently found out that my husband reads my blog. I may or may not have written a long comment on her post. Hope those Breathe Right strips help!)

Creature Comforts: Free Printable 2011 Calendar (Gorgeous! Thanks Allison for turning me on to this site.)

Mishelle Lane of Secret Agent Mama: #reverb {d 28, 29} (LOVE her goal of making everything from scratch. I want to make more meals for our family this year.)

Featured Vlog of the Week

(Click over to see these two videos.)

Diabetes Defeated by a Microchip? Silicon Pancreas Hits Trials

(And also read more about the “bionic pancreas” by the Imperial College London.)
