Featured D-Blogs of the Week
Being out of town for almost a week really threw me off my game. There were so many posts I wanted to leave comments on, particularly everyone’s fabulous art projects. But WIFI and a cell phone signal were rare in mountains.
Here are just a few of my favorite posts I have read recently:
Penny of A Sweet Grace: The Price of a Tummy (I’m not above bribery. We had a sticker chart when we began pumping and Q got a new art kit when she got to 30.)
Wendy of Candy Hearts: And I Quote (I’m finding more and more that Q knows more than I think she does. Wendy tells us that Sugar knew her BG was heading south even if the meter didn’t think so…yet.)
Meri of Our Diabetic Life: Miracles on Jr. High Street (Pure serendipity. You can’t even try to make the stars align like this.)
Bennet Dunlap of Your Diabetes May Vary: FDA Open for Comment on Wider Carb Labeling (I left a comment on the FDA’s site. This is such an important issue for diabetes management.)
Lee Ann Thill of The Butter Compartment: Diabetes Art Day (I really, really wanted to comment of everyone’s art pieces, but it was difficult to keep up!)
Guest post by Allison Blass of Lemonade Life featured on Diabetes Mine: Show and Tell: Diabetes at School (Allison’s perspective of being a child at school with diabetes. Interesting to hear from her childhood friends.)
