The You Can Do This Project celebrates it’s one year d-anniversary today.
As part of the project, members of the diabetes online community (DOC) have created videos of encouragement to others to help them deal with diabetes in a positive way. As part of founder Kim Vlasnik’s submission for a Diabetes Hands Foundation Seeds Grant (today is the last day to vote for entries, which you can do by watching, liking, and sharing the video submissions in three categories: Connect, Educate/Inform, and Empower) Kim talks about taking the project offline.
If you’ll be at the Children With Diabetes Friends For Life conference in Orlando in July, The You Can Do This Project will have a booth in the expo hall.
Here’s our video, which was so fun to make. There is even an appearance or two by Q’s brother!

Thank you so much, Leighann! I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
What a super sweet video! LOVE it! I’m going to have to do one with Caylin next year! I need to keep up to date on this kind of stuff! Fun! Hugs to you all and Q’s brother is a cutie pie, too!
