What I love about events such as the Roche Social Media Summit and the Medtronic Diabetes Advocate Form is that I get face time with some of the great members of the DOC that I have met online. There is nothing like solidifying online relationships in person.

Disclosure, Medtronic paid for my travel, hotel, and meals during the event. I chose to extend my stay at my own expense to sight see and hang out with some of my friends. They did not ask me to write about the event and opinions are my own.
Was great seeing you again, Leighann! And yes: these events are so important on so many levels, including the relationship-building and developing. Great touristy times, too!!
